AV Softwares

Which one should I use? I have every one of them on a cd with exception of AVG Free version. Which one should I use? Or does it not matters? I've heard some problems with AVG. Anybody care to explain their standpoint?

Kaspersky is my new favorite. Found a lot of Trojans that Norton didn't find.

Norton = bloated as hell and overrated
McAfee = Norton but worse

I've been pretty impressed with the avast software, but I use AVG due to freeness and low resource usage.

I found a AV that I had never heard of before called Norman Virus Control. It's a UK company that's been in the business a while but just not well known. Very good reviews and testing. They have a beta program where you get to try the latest software for free, with continued updates indefinately. Been using it a few months now and have been very favorably impressed. Not bloated and doesn't use much resources at all.

YES!!!!:thumbsup: Frankly, I don't see how anyone can still use any of the free programs after reading the reviews in those 2 sites. I've been using Kaspersky for the last week or so, and will be buying it unless I see a hot deal on Norton.

 

Norton Corporate is not as bad as the consumer version, but AntiVir is free for private use so it's a no-brainer.
