AV Receiver & Bluetooth: Will it work with headphones?

I see the sets, most of them, say Bluetooth but the descriptions all say about connecting it to your phone or a different DLNA device and talk about streaming to the receiver.

But I'd like to know can I connect my Bluetooth headset to it? It would be nice to listen music from the receiver while the house is quiet (I have babies who have nap times) or watch TV at night without having to have my hand on the volume control to quiet the loud parts and dial it up to hear the dialogue all the time.

most only receive, not transmit
you can get a separate transmitter usually
or look for one that does transmit

My AVR does, but its pricey (Yamaha Aventage 3060). I know the 1060 and 2060 will do this, and I would suspect some of the lower model Aventages will.

So to answer your question, yes, there are receivers that do this.

edit: MaxDepth you have PM

Even if a receiver does transmit, blue tooth headphones don't usually have the greatest of ranges. So if you're walking around...better to run the blue tooth through your phone.
