I have the following setup:
- a presenter on stage is talking into the mic
- live feed from the mic runs into the mixer, operated by a 3rd party
- I have audio equipment that takes XLR connection, needs stereo input (otherwise, whoever listens to this equipment gets sounds in one ear only)
- mixer is a small portable kind, so I get a mono signal from a 1/4" output (all other outputs are taken)
Now I need to convert this into a stereo signal.
I have:
- 1/4" TRS to XLR patch cable
- long XLR cable that runs to my equipment
and I was thinking of buying this adapter to stick it into the mixer first
Is this the easiest solution? Is there something better?
Thanks!
