AVG 9.0 hanging up for any one else just shuts down all internet and slows it down 100% while in windows 7 64 bit and AV9.0 i can logg up lock up internet not even work .. nay one else having any issues liek this ??? also runnign IE from browers

avg 9.0 is a antirus thats all i knowi like the stuff it does realy a good antivirus

Oh, AVG. Imo, You're getting ripped off, even with it being free. You'd be doing yourself a favor by switching to Avira, or MSE.

Avast free is also a very decent antivirus that doesn't use a lot of resources.

MSE works great for home/home business use.

SEP works better when you have many pc's to deal with.

One false positive can take out your database,quicken,etc. you don't want false positives.

I started having problems with AVG a year or more ago and replaced it. I've been very happy with MSE. If you go that route, uninstall AVG and you can download MSE here: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/
