Auzentech X-Plosion and System Crashes.

OK, I was very happy about my Auzentech X-Plosion card and my new speaker...but not anymore. I am running XP32 and with the latest sound driver from Auzentech.

Sometimes when I am playing music, the system would suddenly become VERY SLUGGISH and the sound would be in VERY slow motion...the system might hang eventually but it's usually back to normal if I close that music program (ex. WinAMP).

Have anyone experienced this before?

I have the card and have not experienced this problem.

I will say this, after you install the drivers, make sure you do the restart. It appears to need it to avoid any complications. Also make sure you use driver cleaner to rid yourself of any creative drivers and that onboard audio is off.

I have setup my X-Plosion for almost 2 weeks now, from a clean install of XP. The problem just started to occur recently (with no new hardware added); the system became very sluggish and eventually un-usable if I don't immediately close the music application...Very strange indeed...

If it just started occuring then I doubt its the card. Uninstall it and see if it goes away.
