Unless you're gaming I really don't see the need for a dedicated sound card anymore. Bitstreaming or outputting LPCM can be done with any of the new ATI HD5xxx video cards or from Core i5 and i3 processors.

But to answer your question, I've never owned one of their cards personally but considering the price I'm sure they're great sound cards.
