for instance, how can i use the lcd screen on the laptop for playing playstation 2?
i have seen those usb tv tuner box.. but they are bulky.
any slick way of feeding an external video source and audio into the laptop?

Via a Cardbus or ExpressCard TV card. That's also the best quality and lowest lag solution, for the PCI(E) chips can feed the uncompressed stream in realtime.

i didnt even know they make xpress tuner card. thanks!

now that i think about it.... would be nice if theres a ps2 emulator! i know ps1 emulator existed but never seen ps2 emu around.

It works sometimes but it is still very unstable. There are also many graphical glitches and you will have to supply your own firmware as it is illegal to distribute it.

Yes they do. When purchasing one, please mind that ExpressCard devices can be PCIE or USB ... and you want PCIE.

LifeView's ExpressCard TV tuners are all PCIE, for example. Other vendors may do differently.
