AUUUUUUUUUUGH how does UPS stay in business?????

Ok, how the ****** do these jagoffs stay in business??? I've shipped or received no less than 12 packages with them over the last several months (not by choice). EVERY SINGLE time they ****** something up. I've had packages damaged, 'dissapear', come in several days late, gotten attitude from a desk attendant (there's one other lady there that is nice, but that's it). I've left instructions that packages be specifically left at the store nearby where they ship from because I'll be at work during delivery hours....and guess what happens? It ends up on a ****** truck for the day so I waste a trip to the store to pick up something that isn't there. That's happened...oh...FOUR times already. I can call for 3 straight days leaving specific delivery instructions, have them confirm it, and have them ****** it up every single day. I'm sitting here waiting for a package that was supposed to be here no later than 5.....it's 6:15. I call their 800 number....and guess what...I can't tell them 'just leave it at the warehouse for me to pick up tonight'....because you can't alter shipping instructions on their automated system anymore.

I'm not doing business with places that require UPS delivery ever again. I'm so sick of this ****** ******.

i prefer fedex

i recently ordered tires from tirerack and shipping to my preferred installer was $2 less and one day faster via UPS

<shrugs>

i always ship via fedex ground due to the cheaper price and convienance of thier main location here in KC , but i noticed they had some new pricing (special/higher pricing for waling in vs. having an account? something like that?)

<shrugs>

Only had one bad experience from them but that was years ago. I usually order something every month too. Sucks to be you.

****** the damned ****** ****** ****** and if UPS ****** ****** then I ****** really ****** ******. The only ****** reason ****** ****** several ****** and ****** ****** ******. Where I do business I ****** ****** and if ****** then ****** if I won't tell them what to ****** ****** ******. ******! I won't ****** ****** stand for ****** and ****** ****** but then ******!

****** ****** ****** ****** ****** ****** ****** ****** ****** ****** ******!!!

This is what you need to do:

1. Go to a farm, get a dead animal, preferably a quadraped, and cut it in half. Keep the rear portion.
2. Wait for the UPS guy to come, jump him, kill him, then hack him in half like you did with the quadraped.
3. Sew the quadraped's rear to the UPS guy's torso, making like a goatman or cowman or horseman or what have you.
4. Leave your creation outside the UPS warehouse.

LOL!

Sucks to be you, sucks to be you even more because you've continually chose to do business with them.

Seriously, this is the problem with large companies. They don't really have to care all that much. And even if you switched entirely to FedEx, it's not like you'd hurt UPS at all, or even get them to consider doing a better job.

For the record, I like my USPS guys because they're all locals. I know my mailman and he knows me, so he definitely does his best to delivery my packages, and I appreciate that. Perhaps form something of a friendly rapport with your UPS guy?

You forgot the profit part.

Pretend you are playing real life Battle Field 2 and the enemies are UPS trucks. You know what to do from there.

:shocked:....my card sir 😛

I think UPS is 1000X better than Fed Ex. You'll always have a bad experience with every company now and again, and you'll always be angry when it happens. You'll come to your senses once you calm down 😉

At one point, I needed to ship a video card to a guy in Australia who won my ebay auction. USPS charged about $25, 10 days to get there. USPS wanted around $120 for 4-6 (maybe eight?) week shipping time.

My bro's case came via ups and it looked like someone kicked it square in the front, breaking the hinge on the door :roll: fixed it tho with an old floppy drive head guide rail 😛

I've used UPS a countless number of times, as well as Fedex, DHL, and USPS, and I can honestly say I've never had one problem with UPS, other then the delivery time is ~6PM, while Fedex's is around 3.
