700 damn, I thought 540 was a ton lol. You will only be 2-3 seconds slower from someone in the same car using some good summers.
 
I have one tomorrow too and I'll be one my falken 615s. I did one back in Feb on my all seasons and finished dead last and to finish dead last with a miata at autox you really have to be bad lol.
 
A buddy of mine is running his Miata...springs, Koni yellows, seats, and Yoko S-Drives.

I can't run my MR2 (fresh paint..waiting for it to cure before I run into cones), so I'm going to try the Forester (stock with a stage 1 tune). It's going to be brutal... 😛
 
A good friend of mine ran 3.6 seconds faster than me (75.4 vs 79)...he was running comparable times to WRX's on summer tires and a couple STi's as well. 😱 He also beat my friend's lightly modded '90 Miata (with Spec Miata racing wheels and summer tires), which I found highly entertaining. 😀

I rode with him...I had no idea my car could go that fast on those tires. One day I will be that good. 😛

I know you have to do vehicle training in the cruiser, it'd still be funny to show up with the cruiser for the event (to participate)
 
The region I ran with today is suppose to have a top cop shoot out at their next even in Oct. They are planning to bring out an older cruiser or two and put a bunch of cops in them to see which one is the fastest. Should be entertaining.

That would be awesome to watch. The closest we had was a bunch of guys running in a POS Crown Vic they got at a police auction
