Ford Lightning for best truck? Can you even tow things with that truck? It seems to me that the best truck should be able to handle at least light off-road situations too.

Sponge Lightnings can and do tow just fine... I think they're only rated 1000lbs less than regular F150s.
The one and only truck I'll probably ever own. ;)

Lightnings can tow just about anything you'd ever want to tow.

Towing Capacity: 5,000 lbs. (2,270 kg)

:) is that enough for you? If not, here's some more numbers :D

Horsepower: 380 hp @ 4,750 rpm
Torque: 450 lb-ft @ 3,250 rpm

Sports Sedan BMW M5

Economy Car Honda Civic

Sports Car Chevrolet Corvette

Luxury Car Mercedes-Benz S-Class

Sedan BMW 3-Series

People Mover Honda Odyssey

Exotic Sports Car Ferrari 575M

Sports Coupe BMW M Coupe

Truck Ford F-150 SVT Lightning

Off-Road Truck Land Rover Range Rover

Seems pretty accurate... I don't know how many people take range rovers off-road though.

Jeeps are 7/10 of the vehicles I see, the rest are 70's and 80's Ford and GM SWB trucks

I vote Hummer for off roading!! Other than that the list is pretty accurate... does the Lightning have a bed extender?

I stand corrected then. My roomate's best friend has one and it doesn't seem like you are getting a whole lot for $32K. I've driven it and it is fast though.
