Autorun doesn't work?

Hey guys!

I don't know how long this has been going on...but my game cd's don't pop up like they used to. The cd/dvd just starts to read and stops... so i think it's my autorun
double clicking the dvd drive only opens it ... like explore drive ... instead of the autorun.

How do i get this to work?
i think it started when i got my two NEC dvd drives.

any help would be appreciated!

double click my computer, right click on the drive, and go to the autoplay tab, check in there to see if anything is disabled.

well not sure if anything is disabled, but it shows a pull down and current says music.
The botton bullet is marked - Prompt me each time to choose an action
