Autoplaying a disc gives me a notepad full of text

I just reinstalled windows and when I try to autoplay a driver disc I get notepad and its full of code. Anyone know why this happens?

look in Autorun.inf file to see what's suppose to run. Then manually fix your file associations.

That might be it.
