autoplay divx when CD is inserted?

can this be done? I know I used to do it with winamp and a winamp playlist for mp3's.

can I do it with media player or another player? I'm thinking I would like to do it with the Gdivx player and put it right on the CD with the movie since the player is small and only one .exe file. anyone tried this?

Create a text file AUTORUN.INF
and in it have lines like:

[AutoRun]
open = player.exe
icon = player.exe

I don't know if there is a mediaplayer switch for fullscreen. You can get launchers at divx-digest or go.to/doom9 to act as intermediaries to do this and also display covers and such.

Auric, that will only open the media player. If you want it to actually run the DiVX you have to run the actual DiVX file and hope that the file is associated correctly on the system you are puting the cd in.
