I was watching the news, and the US gov is giving out cars to religious leaders in Iraq, so they can "pass the good words" to the people...

What's wrong with preaching to the troops?

The key to the Middle East is the religious leaders. If you cannot see this, you shouldn't be discussing this topic.

What's wrong with that? If i give a charity to a Christian church, i'm going to get some God Bless me for this and that, some prayers, etc.

Nothing is wrong with it, but they were suppose to go and tell their own people about how NICE the US suppose to be. Instead, they are less than humbled, and tried to shove their religion down the US troops. It was more hostile than cooporation, you'd have to see it to understand. In otherwords, "thanks for the cars, but fcuk you any way... now we're gonna make really good use of these cars and some high explosive subtances"

It was on channel 9 KCAL TV news at 10. I don't think that they actually said we're gonna bomb you with these cars, but the discussion was heated over religions. Just my take on it.
