Sometimes, you look at a car and you're thinking "WTF was that guy on when he dream up that crap?!" Which gets me wondering, how do they get their job? How do they keep it? And if they keep it, shouldn't someone in the organization tells them "hey bud, I know you're good at using the paintshop/CAD/graphic design programs but..."

Some examples of fugliness (warning, click on these links at your own risks): Ewwww, yuck....

I know there are a lot of talented people in car designs, and in their worst nightmares can't come up with some of the hideous designs running around on the street today. What gives?

I like the FJ Cruiser.

How could you group the FJ with something like the Aztek?

You file them both under "Ugly"

FJ has some nice retro cues for those who are into the original FJ. The aztek, on the other hand, is just plain ugly as sin and it's an abomination...it should never have gone into production. The fool who thought that the Pontiac Aztek was a good idea clearly has about as much brain activity as a bobble head doll.

The FJ is selling well - a successful design - the fact that you don't like it doesn't mean sh!t,

Car design is always hit or miss. Bengal BMWs are regarded as some of the worst looking bimmers ever produced by many, yet the new 3 series is ever so popular.
