The guy who hit me hasn't claimed to his insurance company it's been over 24 hours, this is getting interesting.....

For now, the money scale is at: Pain and Suffering which could be a few grand. But now with this action of not claiming things are adding up.

OP is a tool.

Read closer to the bottom half of the thread, that's where the accident happens.

OK, court date over.

The cop showed up, so naturaly I pleaded guilty. Got $100 fine and 4 months supervision, no traffic school yay.

New happening though, got in a car accident today, the guy was pulling out of a 7/11 and didnt check both ways and as I slowly passed him up and started honking because I knew he didn't see me he hits the gas and rams my back end crippling the bumber and back right fender.

He told the cops it was his fault, he got a ticket and now I'm trying to milk money out of this, I had a passenger who was distressed, what actions can I take in the suing process? Hmmm.

Oh and the cop gave me a form in which I have to draw a composite sketch of the whole thing, this should be interesting...

Pain and suffering for a minor accident is pure bullsh*t. You're nothing but a deadbeat. I'm disappointed that the guy just didn't run you off the road.

just for the record....

that whole 'when was the last time the radar was calibrated' or 'it might need to be calibrated' stuff doesnt work. I tried it. And according to the cop and the judge, they dont have to prove that it is properly calibrated. They only have to prove that they have a certificate to show it was calibrated within the last certain amount of months. The detector could be a pile of crap and off by a lot... but if the cert shows it was calibrated within the timeframe... that is the end of the conversation.

:)
