first off, i am not a spammer... after typing that subject line i had to put a disclaimer.
this would be for a job we're considering here at my office. the client, for whatever reason, would prefer to recieve the files we'd be making (PDFs) as email attachments to a specific addy, rather than just logging into our FTP server to pick up the files like everyone else does.
if i were to come up with an excel sheet (or whatever) that had columns for :
email address (bob@whatever.com)
subject line (file # 2034334 - blahblah.pdf)
file to attach (x:\jobs\folder_1\blahblah.pdf)
date to send (10-30-2003 @ 10pm)
is there an app i could feed that info into that would parse my database and automate the sending of said emails at specified times?
we use (novell) groupwise for our in house email, but i could dedicate a box to be whatever we'd need (iis? exchange? whatever...)
any ideas or links you can shoot my way?
