Automatically turn off cellular when on wi-fi?

im using google voice as my phone # and txt.
I only need cellular for a data connection but when on wi-fi I don't need it.

at home, I have lousy cellular connection and the phone wastes alot of battery searching for cellular.

is there a way to automatically turn off cellular if on wi-fi?
(im running Android 4.x, Jellybean)

You can use an app such as tasker to automate this. This is the first Google result, which shows how to set this up.
