I wonder who was the big genius behind setting the automatic updates setting on windows 7 editions (especially starter edition on netbooks) to automatic setting.
I get a netbook connect to the net and do an update for my antivirus and leave the pc on while i do some stuff. When i prepare to leave and grab the netbook to shutdown it starts installnig updates it downloaded while i was away (55 of them) and I can't turn it off.. I forgot to turn it off before that - geez Microsoft is really bright!!!!
F***!! I gotta go and the damn thing will take 5 hours to do this crap. I wanted to hammer out the faces of those M$ techs who came up with this automatic garbage in the first place.
The only thing it does is disrupts your workflow IMMENSELY!
