automatic file snyc over a network

Hey all just registered.

I tried a google search with no luck. How can I sync file across 4 computers on a lan? I have a small network and when I update the files I wan't them to sync to each computer.
Is this possible using WinXP Pro? or would I need some kind of software to do this.

Welcome to the forums.

Windows has some synchronization software included. Go to Start>Programs>Accessories>Synchronize. I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for as it mainly is for updating files to be used when the computer is offline.
