I just built a computer for my 54 year old mother and I want to get an automatic backup solution on it. I would like to be able to roll back to the previous image. Sort of like Acronis or Ghost, but I want the images to be made automatically.

I also want something that does incremental backups. For example, rather than having a new 10Gb image every day, it appends 50Mbs to the image.

She doesnt need to able to rollback the image, I can do that for her.

Good : you can either go with a external hard drive which if you buy retail version they will usually come with back up software. If not you can use software like Norton Ghost 9.0 or True Image. I use True Image now for my Raid striped drives. Once setup you can back up files automatically under $200. I am sure both programs can run automatically and only back up increments so it doesn't do the entire 10gb everynight. Just picked up a 80gb external and Ghost9.0 for my 58yr pops bday yesterday. Isn't it fun walking them through left click and right click. :)

Better : Mirra server. Plug it into a router that your computers or computer is hooked to. Sure there is like USB or someother method for a single PC other then router. Run software, select what folders or drives to back up. Done. Can also view all those on the net and give access for friends/family to certain areas like new baby pics.
