I have ordered a shockproof/ waterproof flash drive.

I want to plug it into a lap top and have it automatically update my documents.

Can anyone recommend a program for this?

Dunno which sub sub forum to put this into, so i will put it here

You know what would be awesome? If you bought a USB flash drive that would automatically punch you in the face every time you posted. That would be awesome.

Sorry. I can't always please everyone. I try though. I try.

I am sure your fans get quite demanding

Edit:

You know, Australia doesnt have a Prime Minister at the moment. How would you like the job?

How about you try posting the question in the right forum? That would be a GREAT start.

THats the thing this could go into a number of forums. There are too many sub forums,

This topic could go in:

Memory and Storage
Software for windows
general hardware

you're probably going to want to put this in the software for windows forum. memory and storage is generally for the actual hardware/device and general is for hardware issues.

Your QUESTION is:

So I will give you one guess as to the proper forum...

robocopy can do it
allway sync is a gui that's free that will do it

so can you actually help or are you a forum snob?

Sure I have suggestions, but since you are being so bull-headed in your "I can post anywhere I want" attitude (sounds snobbish to me doesn't it?), I won't bother.

create a robocopy script to do it when you run the bat file.

ez

example :

robocopy E:/folder "F:/Cool Folder Name" /mir /R:1 /W:2
That will mirror the directories everytime the bat is run...put robocopy in your system32 folder
