Automatic Acoustic Management?

Anyone know how to check to see whether or not this is turned on for my hard drive? I'd like to turn it off if it is, as I have a screaming 38cfm delta in my case.. a little hard drive noise isn't going to bother me.

What kind of harddrive do you have?
It's probably turned on by default, check your harddrive manufacturer's website for a utility.
