So I own a motorcycle, and my apartment complex is a gated community. My bike doesn't set off the pressure sensor on any of the gates to open them, so I pretty much have to ride up on the sidewalk to exit the premises. Maintainence said they'd fix the problem but after they did it, only one of the 3 gates lets me out.
Now, the complex does have a remote to open the gate, but charges $50 for it. Is it fair to charge someone owning a motorcycle just because the sensors don't recognize the bike? The 3 people here who own bikes all have the same problem. My GSX-R 750, my friends R1, and even the Harley here doesn't set it off. The guy with the R1 and the guy with the Harley got their's for free and the stupid b!tch in the office is trying to charge me for mine.
Any suggestions? Should I just keep taking the sidewalk?
