Autologon for Vista?

Hello,

I've used the autologon registry hack for Windows for a while but don't know if there are different registry settings or an easy way to make my home PC boot up without having to type in my password every time.

THanks

Registry? 😕
Just type "control userpasswords2" in the search box, uncheck "users must use passwords..." hit apply and enter your username & pw.

Thanks - I still want the password - as sometimes I've found accessing drives and resources from other computers will require a password to be enabled.

I figure the registry changes will be similar for autologon as they were for XP but I haven't seen the list yet.

Good to know that though.

You still use a password, it just saves it for you.
