mostly for aircraft but supposedly good for orbital transition use. titanium required for the 35lb version, probably aluminum for automotive sustainer/charging engine. constant power stroke like wankel but the compression chamber is separate from the expansion chamber. revs higher and is more easily scalable than a 4stroke. the main hold up right now is due to roller bearing requirement for higher rev. probably not good enough to replace conventional 4stroke in cars.
