I'm having trouble with a program I use quite often. It's a payroll application for a local Union. I recently used this last month and now when I start the program I receive the following window:

16 bit Windows subsysytem

c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt
The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose close to terminate the application.

Any help in figuring what went wrong? and how to fix it? Thanks.

Looks like it was a simple fix...took two days to figure out tho.

I copied autoexec.nt and config.nt from another computer and pasted it to the windows\system32 directory and all is well. Thanks for the help. I did put in sp2.
