I think I'd take the M3 over the M5 as the former can be ordered without iDrive...assuming its options are similar to that of a standard E90.

I would also love to see the current E46 M3 engine (333 HP) dropped into the 1-series!

hey it'd be a lot of fun to drive a car like that in taiwan's mountainous regions...probably dangerous too for most of us--narrow, winding roads that cut around trees, through solid rock...mostly on a cliff's edge

M5 with a V-10 and 500HP? screw the M3...it'll never beat the M5 in the long run. acceleration, yes, but...never in the long run. I LOVE the M5, its my fav car.

The M5 just spews manliness. It can go, PLUS it's practical as all hell. It's like "Yeah, look at me. I'm a man. A big, strong man.
