autocad monitors

I plan on getting a 21" autocad monitor that needs a video card. I heard it needs something like a fixed frequency video card or something? any suggestions?

AutoCAD monitor? What do you mean?

AutoCAD will run fine on any video card. My dad has been thoroughly using AutoCAD on his Radeon 8500 fine for years.
