Auto Touch-Up paint

Ok, anyone have any opinions on if a vial or paint pen is better for touch-up? I've always bought vials, but I see a lot of pens for sale these days.

When I bought touchup paint at a Honda dealer, they gave me a vial with a brush. At the Acura dealer they gave me a paint pen. That makes me think the pen is better. I haven't actually used the paint pen, but with the brush it's a pain to cover up little nicks without applying too much paint. A toothpick supposedly works better, but I didn't have much luck. Having a detailer touch it up and then sand it would be the best I think, but probably expensive.

yeah. i think I'm gonna go for vials since they are cheaper. I'm selling my truck and when it gets back from the detailer I have a few nicks to touch up.
