I wrote a .bat file to shut off my pc a specific time and added it as a scheduled task. Unfortunately, it wont run unless i am logged in as an admin. Is there any way to get a shutdown script to run when a restricted user is logged in?

Do you have it setup as a scheduled task? If so, you can set the options to "Run as..." whatever user has rights to shut down the PC.

is it on xp or vista? cause i setup a task (to shut down at a set time) on vista and it works all the time no .bat file needed. i'll have to check it when i get home if you want it
