auto send of reading confirmation of emails

Sometimes I don't necessarily want the sender to know I have recieved or read their email. It somewhat irritates me to find my email client is sending out that info without asking me first. Of course it is my fault for not fine tuning the settings.

On the other hand, when I want something from someone, then it is great to know they have received and read the email. 😀
 
all of my accounts have read receipts turned on. It's important that I know a lot of my stuff has been read.

Do you mean you send read receipts with everything? I've worked with people who do that, it's really annoying.
