Auto search agent??

I have been looking (on and off) for the last few months for a used VW diesel. These are pretty hard to find used, unless you want a new bettle, which being a man, I do not.

What I find crazy is that autotrader does not have a search agent that will email me any new postings that fit my set criteria. You would think that this is pretty basic technology that is pretty widespread especially on job sites, why not implement it on car sites.

Am I missing something here or would no one else use this feature? Or do some some sites already have it?

Agreed.. I am on the market for a car too. It's annoying having to go check every now and then.

some one could make a some money coding a site that could search other autowebsites for cars for you. Eventually if you had enough traffic, one of the autosites would buy you out.
