"Auto-renaming" feature for Windows?

When I move a file into a location where an identically named file+extension exists, I want to make windows (XP):

Silently rename the file using its own system, similar to firefox.

Or for windows to have a dialog box offering "Rename"/"Windows Rename All" buttons.


Anyone know of any possible solutions?
