Auto-refresher

I want to suggest an auto-update option set for like 30,60,90 seconds. That way we(I) can sit and stare at the monitor or let it update while coding and all. Just a neat option that could be here for the forums.

Please Explain how you can code and watch at the same time.

I can understand code and sleep 😛 or or stare and sleep (on company time😉)

Should you not get some exercise and use a finger for the mouse refresh or refresh key?

Or even better, get voice command S/W to just hande the word Refresh for you.

Hell no. OT sucks away enough bandwidth. I don't want somebody that is so obsessed that they sit there waiting for the threads to refresh every 30 seconds. If you're actually looking at threads, then you won't be sitting there waiting for it to be auto-refreshed.

agreed. and if you really need instant communication, the IRC room isn't usually very busy. you could talk there.

This one could win an award for dumbest suggestion yet...

The ability for the feature to be abused is way too overwhelming... just imagine if we had a whole bunch of people wanting to bring the forums down? They'd leave their autofreshing forums open all day and night long... I don't think we need that at all!
