My system powers up fine using the auto power up function in the bios. But when it starts any non-ACPI OS the OS will not start. W2K starts with the first black and white progress bar then stops at approx 95%. A similar thing also happens when auto powering Linux, it hangs when it begins to mount the filesystems.
Anybody know what is causing this?
My board is a 1.01 with a 1005A bios.
