Auto Power Off

Just wondering if theres an app so you can set your laptop to automatically shut down when the batteries charged. This way if i charge it overnight, it wont have to be running all night and putting stress on the battery.

once the batteries are charged the laptop will go from charging to normal plug mode. That is standard in most laptops that the power is cut from trying to over-charging the batteries. So you really have nothing to worry about.

I think, in most cases, that laptops will charge their batteries even when turned off, as long as they have mains power.

Laptop charging circuits reduce the charging current as the battery nears full capacity, slowing to a trickle charge once the battery is full just to keep it "topped off." Leaving the battery in while fully charged does not hurt battery capacity, the two things that kill batteries are heat and cycles.
