having problem with auto logon on a LAN two computer im same house but i need to access the files from other computer well i have it all cionfigured but it doesnt auto login so that i can acess the drives on network

 
ok, so are both computer win2k? do they see each other in network neighborhood? do you have accounts setup for each one that wants to access the other?
 
yes everything is setup just when i reboot it asks me for the password to logon to the network

and its pissing me off
 
well, you need to make sure that the account your logging in as is IDENTICAL with username and password to an account on your mapped drive box.
 
yes it is that the wierd thing it doesnt ask me for the user name it says you last loged in as ,,,,, enter the password blah blah blah
