auto insurance question

WAWANESA recently declined one of my vehicles to be in my policy saying that all cars have to be in my possession in order to be in a policy. One of my cars is in Berkeley where I currently attend college and the other is in LA in my dad?s home. Now how to keep having insurance for the car in LA?
