Hey guys - Question about auto insurance.

I live in PA now and have 2 speeding tickets (17+) on my record, (one in 8/2001 and one in 5/2002). After I graduate (beginning of may), I'll be moving to Maryland (switching residency), and will be 22.

When I get a MD license, and look for insurance, do I have to report (or will they see) that I've had 2 speeding violations in PA? Or will I have a clean record with the new license in maryland.

I just wanted to see if anyone knew for sure, because some of the rates I've been getting online seem ridiculous (~6k for a year)...

This all factors in because I will either: a) Have my parents buy the car (in PA for 6% sales tax) under they're name, keeping me as a secondary driver, and I will just drive it around in MD. or
b) I will buy the car under my name in MD and just have me as the primary driver.

Car is a 2004 Acura RSX Type S....

Any info is appreciated, especially if you know any cheap insurance places in MD (Baltimore area) for full coverage.

Thanks
-Pete
