Auto inspection (128 point)....how much does it cost?

Im in the process of buying a used car and before we transfer titles and all, I need to go get the car inspected. How much does this generally cost and does anyone know of any auto-chains (Exxon, Mobil, etc) that do it for a cheap price?

Generally anywhere from $50-$80. Get it done at a dealer for the vehicle's manufacturer (i.e. if you're buying a used Honda, get the inspection done at a Honda dealer). Do not go to some oil change chain, their "technicians" are not certified.
