This is a setup to Auto Hibernate on AC Power is Off and Auto Resume when AC is ON.
Requirements: Use a Password Protected Account.
Auto Hibernate
1.Auto Hibernate.
Puts your laptop into hibernation when AC power is removed.
(Alternative :U can set Critical power level to 99-98% and set Critical battery action to hibernate)
To Enable hibernation is OFF.
1.powercfg.exe /hibernate on
2.Set Hybrid Sleep off .Power options>Change Plan settings>Change advanced Plan settings>Sleep>Allow Hybrid Sleep>Off
Auto Resume:
2.Start up scheduled tasks in Windows
3. Create Task
4. Under General Tab make sure you have a Name and run it with "Highest Privileges"
5. Go to triggers tab and create new trigger
6. Choose daily and set a start time anytime about 10+ minutes ahead, along with "Repeat task every 1 minute or lower" if possible "for a duration of: indefinate".
7. Click ok and go to actions and create new
8. Choose "Display a message" with Title and Message, Type whatever you want.
9. Go to conditions and make sure
"Start task only if computer is on AC Power"
"Stop if computer switches to battery"
"Wake computer to run this task" is checked.
10. Click ok and save in!
Now when the time comes and it is run "or you click run" it will run it every minute or whatever you choose till AC Power is found. Then it will kick you out of hibernation mode so you can do what you need to!
