Auto Format In Word 2002

How do I turn it off? I want my sentences to start where I want them to start.
I unchecked everything in auto complete but I still can't line up the sentences.
Example Notice in paragraph 2 all but one line auto tabbed in. That didn't happen in paragraph 1. I want the format like paragraph 1.

Did you try different bullets and numbering formats? I think you have to adjust it there because you are using numbers to start your paragraphs.

I didn't try that. They are quiz questions that I had to type out and answer. #1 came out fine then the auto format kicked in in #2. I'll try the bullet formatting.
