auto driving schools in NYC?

can anyone recommend a good cheap auto driving school in NYC that offers manual driving lessons? i would like to take a couple... (not a chinese place...been there done that...they do not care whether u learn or not)...tia...

joe678, best advice for a NYC'er, find a rental car; if you're not old enough, find a friend who can rent a car for you for the day. Learning the basics of driving a manual car only takes a few minutes or so; mastering it is another story.
