Awww man! I was hoping it was going to be not so Mad Max-esque. I have been hoping and waiting for a game akin to EA's Motorcity Online a few years ago. It was a great Idea, but being EA, they messed it up big time. The driving feel was horrible, think 700hp hot rod that is somehow magically unable to do a donut, but will whip into a 360 wipe-out if you turn the slightest bit too hard. There was no reward for racing other players either...flop. I saw this title and thought it would be more hot roddy. Guess I will have to keep waiting. Even though this game could still be interesting.

No problem. I grow tired when people keep saying something has "RPG ELEMENTS" or set in a "POST APOCOLYPTIC WORLD!" but the first impression I had was "Damn, Carmageddon with cars you can upgrade yourself!"

anyone remember a game where you drove a taxi and upgraded your vehicle with better armour and weaponry, went on missions etc? Was kinda like Carmageddon but with more purpose.

Sorry about my previous post, I seem to liek to go off topic far too easily. I loved carmageddon and yes this game does look quite cool. Some of the screen shots of the Miniguns with huge waves of shells flying out made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I will definately try this one out (despite my seemingly negative previous post)

I too, thank you for letting us know about this one, would have never found it on my own

That would be Quarantine, old old old game. I could never get it to run right on my old 486 and finaly gave up on it.
