just built a new system with a7vn8x deluxe and an amd xp3000+ barton (333mhz). I flashed the bios and the sysem recognized the processor correctly, but when I reboot the post reads AMD processor at 1300 mhz. This is what it read before I flashed to the newest bios, and I thought everything was OK. I am not sure about bios settings in terms of whether or not I need to change something from the default setting, as I am not reallly familiar with the functionalities of the various settings.
Bios reads:
CPU external frequency 100mhz
CPU frequency mult. 13.0 x
Resulting Frequency 100 mhz
CPU vcore 1.650 v
Not sure if the above information is helpful, but I hope so as I am at a loss.
