Austria Closes Seven Mosques And Kicks Out Radical Imams

Chancellor Sebastian Kurz ordered the closing of seven mosques and possibly kicking out radical imams in the country due to a law that bans political Islam and foreign financing. Many of the mosques were financed by Turkey and were preaching radical Islam.

Why is Turkey sponsoring extremist ideology in Austria. Political Islam is banned in Austria so why were they still engaging in it. The chancellor did the right thing. If they want to preach peace and love then go ahead but extremist ideology is not acceptable. I suspect Turkey is doing the same thing as Saudi Arabia in exporting wahabbi ideology.

Wait.

Why does the US support political Christianity? That is unconstitutional. Perhaps OP should complain about that, rather than, you know, other countries that are of no relevance to him and which he clearly can't even point out on a globe if given a chance.

Turkey was funding these mosques, now why would they do that? The people of Austria dont want radical islamists in the country so they should be kicked out. These imams were supporting sharia law so there is no reason for them to be in Austria. This is good news for Austria and Europe.

Remember what happened the last time Austrians didn't want non-whites and non-Christians around?

Oh dear....

By the way, I know an unusual number of Austrians and people living in Austria. You might be interested in what actual Austrians actually think; not what your pillow chants to you during your feverish night sweats.

They kicked out people who were calling for sharia law and don't believe in Austrian values, what is wrong with that? There are around 600-800K Muslims in Austria, they aren't being kicked out. It's only people who are causing problems.

So you only believe that our 1st amendment rights should be granted to people in other countries when said people's beliefs align with your own?

He can't even use proper punctuation

These appear to be questions, correct?

So...

countries that are of no relevance to him and which he clearly can't even point out on a globe if given a chance.

It's possible he believes the earth is flat. Globes are fake news. Why would he want to learn fake news?

Those people are fleeing their countries because of wars, most of which are about various chunks of various countries deciding to declare independence from said countries. Religion is usually only one of many causes/influences and plays a role of varying importance depending on which war you're looking at.

Meh

I just don't understand how OP can continually feign interest in Austria.

Lots of European countries do some super weird things, just like every country. It's just so much worse in modern times because we Americans want to believe we still live in the greatest country in the world. And Europe has been constantly checking us and showing us that might not be correct. So when they falter too, in ideology that spreads hatred and fear, it shows we Americans that perhaps we are still the greatest country in the world. More so for the religious right since they conflate hating your government with hating your country. I can still be a patriot and love America while hating the direction we're going.

Unless of course OP is suggesting, with all these threads presumably pointing to European countries doing what we should be doing with Mexico, in that our spread of hatred and fear, and cages. That the US should be doing what Europe is doing and see, we and Trump are right, Italy is just straight deporting everyone, see see.

Which also suggests Europe is something we should look towards for other changes like with health care, in countries where people live longer healthier lives. Pretty counter intuitive to the whole right wing ideas don't you think?

America is better though and we should be better, at least then we are right now.

And lastly, f Trump. F him in the A

Yemen? It's about territory. Syria? It's about territory. East Africa? It's about territory. Libya? It's about territory. Religion is just part of the mix.

What's "Political Islam?"

The Muslim Brotherhood, I think, can be called a both a political group and an Islamic group and it's political stance is based on, and is intended to promote, it's Islamic beliefs. That seems like something that could be called "Political Islam."

I think that Hezbollah in Lebanon works as well.

Note: the above is an academic exercise and should not be taken as having anything to do with any beliefs of Incorruptible.

That's why we need to build a wall, to keep them Christians from fleeing America by the millions and infecting Canada and Mexico with their radical ideology.
