Pardon, am I tripping? WHY are we being capped and then charged per megabyte? WHY am I paying $89.00 a month for a deal that cost me hundreds in installation and a forced 18 month plan? WHY is it when I talk to telstra during the installation of my GAY-DSL did the guys tell me that they are limiting throughput to 512kbps because they do not want to overload the network, and NOW they tell me that they will cap usage because of overuse?
WHY is the cap at 3 F*CKING GB? When clearly that limit is F*CKING easily reached when downloadable movies are at 600Mb PER F*CKING CLIP? WHY is it 3GB a month when in a 6 F*CKING hours I can download over 800MB?
ARE THEY NOT F*CKING AWARE OF THEIR KEY USERS THAT WENT ON THIS PROGRAM FOR THE FREEDOM OF D/L?
ARE THEY NOT AWARE THAT IT IS THE FORERUNNERS IN THE ADOPTION OF BROADBAND THAT HAVE PROVIDED THEM WITH THE CASH FLOW AND UPTAKE NECESSARY FOR THEIR SERVICE TO SURVIVE? WHY DO WE THE INITIAL CUSTOMER HAVE TO BE FORCED INTO SUCH A F*CKED UP ARRANGEMENT, WHEN CLEARLY IT IS WE THE EARLY ADOPTERS THAT RECOMMEND THE SERVICE TO THE LAGGARDS, HENCE DOING TELSTRA?S JOB OF ADVERTISING BROADBAND TO THOSE LESSER USERS?
HAS ANYONE SEEN A PROPER MEDIA CAMPAIGN FOR BROADBAND? NO, BECAUSE WE HAVE DONE THEIR JOB FOR THEM.
WHY THE F*CK IS THE DEAL CALLED THE FREEDOM PLAN WHEN THERE IS AN ENFORCED AND CHARGED REQUIREMENT?
WHO OUT OF THE THOUSANDS OF CABLE/ADSL USERS WOULD HONESTLY ASK AND ACCEPT A CAPPED D/L LIMIT?
WHEN IT IS POSSIBLE TO D/L 1MB IN 5 SECONDS FLAT, HOW CAN TELSTRA CHARGE BY THE MB OVER THE 3GB LIMIT?
THE LARGE MAJORITY OF USERS DO NOT COMPLAIN OF POOR SERVICE. IT IS THE CORE/EARLY ADOPTERS THAT COMPLAIN THE MOST BECAUSE WE CARED ABOUT THE QUALITY OF SERVICE WE RECEIVED.
OVER AND OVER AGAIN TELSTRA F*CKS US UP THE ARSE. THIS IS NOT TO MENTION THE SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS WE HAVE HAD TO ENDURE WITH EACH TELECOM COMPANY F*CKING EACH OTHER OVER WITH EXPENSIVE PEERING SERVICES, REDUCING THE OVERALL PERFROMANCE OF EVERYONE?S CONNECTIONS BECAUSE PROVIDERS HAVE TO ROUTE DATA FLOWS ALL AROUND AUSTRALIA TO CUT COSTS.
WHAT THE F*CK ARE THESE @SSHOLE, F*CKED IN THE HEAD C*NTS DOING WITH OUR MONEY?? IT?S OBVIOUS THAT THEY ARE SIMPLY REPORTING YEAR ON YEAR PROFIT INCREASES WHILE CUTTING THE QUALITY OF THEIR SERVICE. TOTAL F*CK HEADS.
CONVENTIONAL BUSINESS SENSE WOULD INDICATE THAT WITH THE INCREASED FREQUENCY OF ADOPTION OF BROADBAND, TELSTRA SHOULD BE ABLE TO SUPPORT MORE USERS BY SEPNDING EARNINGS ON IMPROVING THE TELECOM NETWORK.
BUT NO, IT SEEMS 5% OF USERS ARE ABLE TO BRING DOWN THE ENTIRE COMPANY?S PLANS AND RESULT IN A F*CKING CAP ON ALL USERS. HOW POOR IS THE MANAGEMENT OF TELSTRA?S COMMUNICATIONS BUSINESS IS IT FOR THIS TO HAPPEN?
THIS IS NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT IF WE WEREN?T WITH TELSTRA FOR LOCAL CALLS AND INTERNATIONAL WE?D HAVE TO PAY $105 FOR GAY-DSL.
