Australia offers troops

aussies rule...I wish i could go to australia

You should go one day, I was there for 2 weeks last month and can't wait to go back.

<< Canada has already offered some bombers! >>

Maybe like 2 from 1945 😛

Sorry if I sound like an ignorant fool, its just that our military is so pathetic I blow things outta proportion on how much our army sucks to have a little fun 🙂

Canada is the ONLY UN nation that has participated in EVERY UN mission.

So yeah, i would imagine Canada would be involved in this as well.

I have yet to figure out how we manage it with a $7.2 billion CDN budget for our military...

Oh oh maybe a contributing factor is we don't even buy enough helmets for most soldiers to have their own. When Canadian Soldiers come back from wherever they drop their helmets in a big cardboard box, and their replacements grab the helmets and go back there.

<<That's good, as long as they don't send Steve Irwin 🙂>>

Hey, if that guy can wrestle slimy reptiles and handle poisonous serpents, he sounds like exactly the kind of guy we need! 😉

HAHA Damn good point. I never thought of that 🙂

Canada has a squadron or two of F-18 jets. They participated in the Gulf War and they'll participate here. We've also got some diesel-powered subs that might prove utterly useless in combats against a superpower but could prove useful here for ensuring sanctions against nations are enforced. Our military is underfunded but it's not bass ackwards! We'll be able to contribute just fine.

edit Don't forget our JTF2s. They WILL be used in this conflict for sure. JTF2s=Canadian Navy SEALs.

Had the pleasure to work with Canadian Army folks back in 94- thy're good folks and will work well with us- and I have no doubt the Aussies will as well
