Hello to all TX forum folks.
I'll be in Austin for a long weekend, seeing friends and a couple of job interviews.
But I want to sample some of that Austin music scene I've heard aboot. Durham and Chapel Hill (NC) have a prodigious reputation for our musical culture, so I'll be hard to impress. I tried austin.citysearch but a) the site was lame, and b) I hear that citysearch charges out the butt for talent to be noticed on their site. My friends are busy moving to a new house, so they don't have time to really go through the local magazines there until tomorrow night.
So, anything good going on tomorrow and/or Friday night?
